Same Day Appointments
Please note we do not offer a walk-in service.
Please call between 08:30am and 12:00 to request a same day appointment with a doctor on 0117 9669 724. Patients who request a same day appointment for non-urgent matters will be offered the opportunity to book in advance as above.
If you feel that you need to see a doctor on the same day, you will be placed on the duty doctor’s telephone list, they will call you back as soon as they can to discuss your problem. They may be able to resolve your problem on the telephone, however if a face to face consultation is required they will arrange this for you.
Calls after 12:00 for urgent matters will be passed to the duty doctor. Calls after 12:00 requesting a same day appointment for a non-urgent problem will be offered a routine appointment.
Practice Nurse appointments are 15 -30 minutes long
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. Appointments are of 15 - 30 minutes duration and can be booked 4 weeks in advance.
Telephone Appointments are 5 minutes long
If you feel that your problem can be dealt with over the telephone rather than by attending the surgery please call and ask for a telephone consultation. The doctor will call you back at a convenient time. These appointments can be booked 4 weeks
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. To cancel an appointment you can call us or use the online cancellation option on our home page.
